KC Softwares Video Inspector is a small tool that helps you analyze video files and get information about them. It is especially useful when you have problems playing a video with your computer, like for instance, no audio, or errors concerning codecs.
Features of this program include support for AVI, Matroska, MPEG I, MPEG II, QuickTime video files, automatic detection of codec requirements, the ability to show Audio & Video Codecs installed on your system, FourCC Changer, Bitrate Grapher, batch file analysis (multiple video files can be processed simultaneously and data is exported to CSV and HTML files).
The program can also download required codecs through Online Database, and detect format container automatically based on content. It also displays Video and Audio streams info : Resolution, bitrate, frame rate, sample rate, bitrate, number of channels, calculates video quality factor and has the ability to burn CDs/DVDs (if CopyToDVD is installed on your system). Another usefull features is its integration with Windows Shell allowing Drag and Drop and use with the Context menu (right click).
I recommend this free software, especially to those who usually download video and have experienced problems trying to play it. |
